Pats face off with Blades for first game action at the Brandt Centre

Regina Pats Gameday Preview

Pre-Season Game #3 – Sept. 14, 2012

Brandt Centre

Matchup:
The Pats and Blades both meet for the first time in the WHL Pre-Season with a win and a loss to their names.  The Pats opened with a 3-1 win over Brandon followed by a 5-3 loss to the Wheat Kings the next night on the road.  The Blades dropped a 6-2 road decision to the Raiders to start out the exhibition campaign, but rebounded the next night with a 6-3 win over Prince Albert.  Tickets for tonight’s 7 p.m. puck drop are ten dollars.

Around the League:
The WHL Pre-Season is into its final weekend as teams work their way down to opening day rosters.  Swift Current leads the way in the East Division with a 3-2-0-0 record in exhibition play.  Elsewhere… Calgary, Kamloops and Portland each have four pre-season victories.

Shuffling the Deck
Pats GM Chad Lang continues to create competition on defense.  The most recent shake up brings 6’5”, 190 lbs rearguard Kade Pilton.  The big defender looks to add some offensive punch from the blueline with an impressive shot from the point.

Pats fans are now able to purchase single game tickets from Ticketmaster.
