Colton Jobke Returns to Pats

October 04, 2012

Pats defender reassigned by Houston Aeros

Regina, Saskatchewan – Defenceman Colton Jobke has been reassigned by the Houston Aeros to the Regina Pats for the 2012-13 season.

Signed as a free agent in 2010 by the Minnesota Wild, the Delta, BC product was in camp with the Aeros in Minnesota trying to crack the roster of the Wild’s top affiliate.

In two scrimmages playing for Team Green, Jobke had a goal in a full team shootout after the first game and tallied an assist in the second contest.

Last season with the Pats, the 6’1”, 189 lbs defender scored ten goals and added 19 assists, and his return to the Blue and White brings a wealth of experience to a young Pats blue-line.

Held out of the Pats first six games of the season because of his NHL/AHL commitments, Jobke makes his return to the Regina lineup Friday night against the Red Deer Rebels.
