Bidlevskii Returns to Pats

The Regina Pats received some good news this afternoon with the return of 20 year old defenceman Artem Bidlevskii from the New York Islanders.

After playing 10 strong games with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League (the AHL affiliate of the Islanders) at the tail end of last season, Artem signed an Amateur Tryout Contract (ATO) with New York on September 10th before attending the Islanders rookie camp. He played in a pair of preseason games against the Boston Bruins.

With the return of Bidlevskii, this now gives the Pats one of three 20 year old positions filled, as they await the possible returns of Brandon Davidson (Edmonton Oilers) and Garrett Mitchell (Washington Capitals) from NHL Camps.
