In his return to the line-up, 19 year old forward Brett Leffler scored twice, and added an assists, as the Pats won their fourth in a row 5-4. The took a 3-0 lead early in the second period on Leffler's second of the hockey game, but a rash of penalties saw the Ice score three times in 2 minutes to tie the game at three.

Matt Strueby's team leading fifth of the season got the Pat in front 4-3, and in the third Jordan Eberle scored a shorthanded goal, which turned out to be the winner.
