Pats Weekly October 6th
Week in Review:
Wednesday Oct. 1st Regina Pats 7 Moose Jaw Warriors 3
The first win of the season saw the Pats finally break through on the score sheet as the blue and white rolled up on their Highway One rivals, the Moose Jaw Warriors 7-3. Jordan Eberle (2-1) and Jordan Weal (1-2) had great nights with three points each, while five others had two points in the game. Linden Rowat picked up the win with a 29 save performance.
Saturday Oct. 4th Regina Pats 4 Brandon Wheat Kings 2
Brandon has historically been a difficult place to place to play for the blue and white, but this past Saturday saw them gut out a 4-2 win at Westman Communications Group Place. Victor Bartley took over the game, scoring twice, laying out the body and was a plus-3. Linden Rowat was outstanding, stopping 27 Wheat Kings shots, including a game saver on Brayden Schenn late in the third period to preserve the win
Sunday Oct. 5th Regina Pats 2 Red Deer Rebels 1 S/O
Damien Ketlo’s first ever WHL start will be one to remember, backstopping the Pat to a 2-1 win in a shoot-out. He stopped 28 shots over the first 63 minutes, and then sent away all three Rebels shooters empty handed in the shoot out. Matt Strueby took over the team lead in goals with his fourth of the season.

Matt Strueby has taken over the team lead in goals with 4, including markers in all three of the Pat wins this week. Jordan Weal continues to lead the team in scoring with 11 points, while Victor Bartley is one of the top scoring defencemen in the WHL with 7 points.
Power Outage:

Pink hats are available at the Neutral Zone, as well as on reginapats.com, and Southland Mall. The month will be capped with the Breast Cancer Awareness night on October 24th, when Pats players will wear special jersey’s that will be auctioned off at the end of the night with all of the money going towards the “Research to Recovery” fund.
