Events Calendar

The Regina Pats are very grateful to the Regina Community and their fans for the wonderful support they give us. We would like to show our appreciation to the community by getting involved in special events and appearcances throughout the City of Regina.

 

On March 2nd, The Regina Pats Saskatchewan born players along with Head Coach, Curtis Hunt signed autographs at the Saskatchewan Sports Hall of Fame.

  

 

On January 10th, The Regina Pats were invited to play an exhibition floor hockey game against the Vipers Special Olympic Floor Hockey Team. The Pats were defeated by a score of 14-13 in a shoot-out.

   

 

 On December 16th, members of the Regina Pats helped the Outdoor Hockey Leaque kick off their 15th season. The OHL is a free recreational hockey league offered throughout the City of Regina (and beyond) that offers kids the opportunity to play hockey free of barriers like cost, transportation, etc. 

  

 

 On December 10th members of the Regina Pats delivered Teddy Bears to children at the Pasqua and General Hospitals in Regina. The Teddy Bears were collected at the Annual Toques & Teddy Bear Toss on December 1st. Hundreds of Bears were collected for the hospitals as well as the Salvation Army.

  

 

Access Communications' Pumpkin Patrol along with other community organizations joind up again this year on Halloween to patrol the streets and help keep kids safe. The Regina Pats were on location at several malls around the city to sign autographs and help educate youngsters on Halloween Safety.

   

  

On October 25th, Access Communications Children's Fund along with the Regina Pats made a donation to the Regina & Distrcit Food Bank. On behalf of both organizations, a set of Brady Brady Books was donated to the Food Bank's Library. Access Communications Children's Fund also dontaed a cheque for $1200 to the Food Bank's Library for the purchase of books to supplement their library. 

  

 

On October 16th, The Regina Pats helped Farm Credit Canada to commemorate the founding of the Food and Agricultural Organizations of the United Nations through World Food Day. The Pats helped serve Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner to students at Thomson Elementary School.

  

 

October 15th kicked off Reading Week in Regina. Members of the Regina Pats Hockey Team visited various local Regina Schools to share Brady Brady stories with the students. Our Literacy Program "Making Reading a Fun Goal" is on its second consecutive year and with the help of Access Communication, we are able to donate these Brady Brady books to the school libraries.

   

 

On September 16th, The Regina Pats participated in the Annual Terry Fox Run. Members of the Pats collected pledges for the Terry Fox Foundation and participated in the 5km run.
