Events CalendarThe Regina Pats are very grateful to the Regina Community and their fans for the wonderful support they give us. We would like to show our appreciation to the community by getting involved in special events and appearcances throughout the City of Regina.
On November 2nd, The Regina Pats teamed up with The Deputy Premier and Minister of Education, Ken Krawetz and students of St. Josaphat School to Launch Paralympic Week by demonstrating a game of Ice Sledge Hockey.
Garrett Mitchell and his teammates took it upon themselves and raises over $1200 for Breast Cancer at our Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Night on October 17th by shaving their heads. Players were also joind by General Manager Brent Parker and Regina Pats Alumni Jamie Heward.
October 14th was the official launch of 'Life Saving Hat Tricks', a new partnership with the Regina Pats and Canadian Blood Services. This program is dedicated to encouraging and motivating our fans to become blood donors. Regina Pats players along with Head Coach Curtis Hunt were on site to show their support.
On September 17 Matt Strueby, Alex Pym and Kyle Mulder served coffee downtown to collect donations for the Alzheimer Society's Annual Coffee Break.
2009 Buffalo Days Parade
Members of the Regina Pats along with the Abadoo Ice Girls were down on Rose Street on June 26th for the 3rd Annual Sticks on Rose Street Hockey Classic. This year's fundraiser was a huge success raising over $60,000.
On June 15th, the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride arrived in Regina and the Pats were on location to greet them as they arrived and sign autographs for the kids. On May 24th, members of the Regina Pats took part in the Third Annual Queen City Swim Challenge. The players made a big splash in the Celebrity Cannon Ball Competition as well as a 1500 metre relay.
On May 6th, Matt Strueby and Matt Delahey along with K9 visited two local McDonalds Restaurants for McHappy Day where they helped raise money for local Children's Charities.
